Michele Suarez, LPC, LAC, MS, is the owner of Marigold Counseling. Michele has experience working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, perfectionism, and negative self-view. In the therapy room her first goal is to help the client feel seen and heard. She then aims to create a safe environment in order that each client can experience personal growth, meet their goals and experience healing. An initial drive that first brought Michele to the counseling field was her passion for helping others view themselves as Christ sees them. Her approach in therapy is eclectic- utilizing a psychodynamic view to connect themes in a client’s history, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), attachment theory, as well as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

Michele is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania, as well as a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in the state of New Jersey. She holds a Masters of Science (MS) degree in Counseling and an Advanced Specialization in Counseling Certificate from Cairn University. She holds years of experience working in the counseling field.

After graduating from Cairn Michele served as a staff counselor at Oasis Counseling Center for a number of years. Additionally, she taught at the graduate level for three years, co-leading a class devoted to teaching counseling skills and character development to graduate counseling students.
