Laura Tarbert, LPC
Laura earned a Masters of Science (MS) degree in Counseling from Cairn University and is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania. Laura has experience with a wide variety of clients ranging from children, teens, and adults providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , Family Systems Therapy, and utilizing an eclectic and person-centered approach. Some areas of experience include: attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), family and marriage counseling and self-esteem. Laura’s goal is to create a warm, supportive, and safe space to help clients feel comfortable and open to engage in the therapeutic process through empathy, authenticity, and honesty as they pursue personal and spiritual growth.
Laura has two years of experience in teaching graduate counseling, co-leading a course in group counseling and marriage and family counseling.
